Sooooo...the Kieffer has a cracked tree. The Kieffer is the only saddle we've got that fits Duch right now. I have a Passier dressage saddle that probably would, but I need to finish flocking it. And I likely can't jump in it; it's hard enough on me to sit in a dressage saddle anyway (stupid hip bursitus).

Kat and Duch have reasonably similar backs, and I've noted that Kat's saddle might fit Duch okay in the past. Also, Kat's saddle has the Courbette Lemetex tree, with the "flexible" points, which theoretically can allow the saddle to wit properly on a M or MW horse. Nah. It just didn't fit Duchess now that she's a MW (possibly a W at this point).

Soooo...going to try borrowing a saddle that might fit okay, but likely will not--also dressage anyway. And possibly will end up riding bareback for a significant period of time. Just picked up an Ebay Kieffer which ought to fit both of us with minimal work; will have to wait until it gets here.
