Friday Duchess saw the AcuChiroVet. She got her neck and back popped. AcuChiroVet said she'd love to tell me that Duch's sacrum was out and that's why she won't pick up her right lead under saddle, but it wasn't. Duch then had lots of needles stuck in her for various things. She took them a lot more calmly than Kat did, although she did react to a few of them (flinched) and there were a couple she kept trying to grab with her teeth.

She's been a lot more sore than Kat was after Kat was done--but she's been working hard and building muscle. Today I massaged her; she was mostly doing pretty well, but did have some sore spots.

And crap. From the way her back feels, I think one of the saddles I've used on her recently may have a cracked tree (right side). Darn it, I check them regularly! I had better thoroughly eval the 3 saddles I've used in the past couple of months.

Tomorrow I'll do some flatwork. Tuesday, I want to ride twice: flatwork, then later a jumping session. If she can handle that, then we'll enter the HT. If not, it's off and I'll look for my next opportunity.
