04:52 pm Wow, that was impressive! Went for try #3 with a local client who's been looking for a saddle for her horse. She has a used Frank Baines on trial now. It was PERFECT. It was even already bedded in precisely to her horse's shape, and smooth with no "holes" or lumps in the flocking. The horse it was used on previously must have been shaped *exactly* like this mare. I've never seen anything quite like that before :) Saddles that fit okay, could use some tweaking; saddles that needed restuffing or lots of adjustment to get just right, saddles that didn't fit at all...this was a new one on me, to have a used saddle be just perfect out of the box.
